Privacy
Épique Food and Events ("Épique Hot Chocolate", "we", "us") collects personal information for ordering, customer support, onboarding and training processes, and internal record keeping. We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, and business details
- Order and billing information
- Uploaded documents and digital signatures (for onboarding when applicable)
- Limited technical data such as IP addresses and session information
Payments
Payment details are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Cookies and analytics
We may use cookies for session, checkout, and basic analytics functionality. You can adjust browser settings to disable cookies, however some features may not function correctly.
Data use and sharing
We use your information to fulfill orders, respond to enquiries, operate our website, and support business operations.

Data retention
We keep order and billing records as required under Australian tax law. Contract documentation may be retained for the duration of the agreement plus three years. Training and food safety records may be retained for up to two years. Email correspondence may be retained for business and compliance purposes.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, or deletion of personal information where legally permitted by contacting us. Some records (for example invoice data) cannot be deleted due to legal obligations.
Data breaches
If a data breach is likely to result in serious harm, Épique Food & Events will comply with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Refunds and Returns
If something is not right with your order, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will assess replacements, refunds, or store credit in line with Australian Consumer Law.
Shipping
Orders are dispatched from Australia. Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays. Shipping options and prices are shown at checkout.
